Family Creation 2 (parametric Arrays) After we have placed the Cupboard door down on the Ref. Level view, go to the ‘Front’ elevation. We want to raise the Cupboard door off the Ref. Level. We do this by, in the ‘Front’ Elevation view, selecting the Cupboard Door and going to its properties and adjusting it ‘Offset’ value to 100mm. Note that the host for the Cupboard Door is the Level: Ref. Level and the level on which it was placed is: Ref. Level Next we will adjust the size of the Cupboard Door specifically its Width. Select the Cupboard Door Plain, click on ‘Edit Type’ in the properties pallet and set the Width to 450mm. - These parameters are coming from the Cupboard Door Plain’s family. The next thing that we will be doing to the Cupboard Door Plain is overriding its Width and Height parameters. (This is done because we want to control these parameters from inside the Kitchen Cupboard Adjustable family). Select the Cupboard Door Plain and click on ‘Edit type’ in the properties pallet. You will see that at the end of the Width and Height parameter fields there are grey buttons. Click on the grey button that is in the Width line.
