Family Creation 2 (parametric Arrays)
This will open a window where
you can choose from a list of
currently open Revit files,
where you want to load this
family into. Select ‘Kitchen
Cupboard Adjustable’ tick box
and click on the ‘ok’ button.
The cupboard door has now
been loaded into your Kitchen
Cupboard Adjustable family. It
can be placed the same way as
you would place a normal
component that has been
loaded into a project.
If it does not appear
immediately on your mouse
cursor;

Make sure that you are
in a ‘plan’ view.

Go to the ‘Create’ tab
in the ribbon and click
on ‘Component’

It will be the only
component that is
available in the Type
selector.
Place the door down in plan as
shown in the image.
Select the door and click on
‘Edit Type’. Adjust the door’s
width to be about 450mm
wide. Click ‘ok’
