Family Creation 2 (parametric Arrays)
We will make a solid extrusion
from the Ref. Level. Plan view.
Go to the ‘Create’ tab, select
Solid Extrusion tool. Start by
selecting the rectangle draw
tool. By clicking in the top left
corner of the reference plane
crosses and drawing to the
bottom right corner reference
plane crosses.
Again the pink Sketch lines will
build their own constraints with
the reference planes.
At this moment the extrusion is
still only 250mm high. If we go
to the ‘Front’ elevation view we
can see this clearly.
Select the solid extrusion, click
and drag the top ‘push-pull’
control upwards so that it
snaps to the top reference plan
that has a dimension to it
labelled ‘Height’.
