Family Creation 2 (parametric Arrays)
Once the ‘Add Parameter’
option has been selected you
will be presented with a
Parameter Properties dialog
box.
The options that are to be filled
in here are as follows:

Family Parameter
The name of the parameter is

Cupboard Door Width
The Discipline and Type of
Parameter have automatically
been selected and greyed out
The group under which this
parameter will be placed can
be left at
-
Dimensions.
This can always be changed
later.
This parameter we have
created needs to be a Type and
not Instance. This is done so
that when we assign a value to
this parameter then all of its
instances will take on that
value and not just one
instance.
