Curtain Walls and Mullions
Go to Left Elevation. The
Reference planes represent
the glass centre lines. Add a
dimension between the
reference planes. Move the
new reference 18mm from the
CF/B. Lock the Dimension.
Select the new Reference and
in the properties give it a
name ‘SA’.
Giving the reference Plane a
name will make it a work
plane.
Go to the Exterior Elevation.
Create an Extrusion on the
reference planes as shown
and lock the lines.
Finish.
Go to Left elevation. The
Extrusion’s face is on the
reference plane. To extrude to
both sides of the reference
planes, extrude end-3 and
extrude start 3.
Go to the Interior Elevation.
Before creating the extrusion,
change the work plane to SA:
Create>Set Work plane.
Choose Reference plane: SA
from the list. OK
Create an Extrusion on the
reference planes as shown
and lock the lines.
Finish
Go to Left elevation. To
extrude to both sides of the
reference planes, extrude
end-3 and extrude start 3.
