Curtain Walls and Mullions
Import the CAD Section of the
bottom transom into the
profile family.
This could be seen as just the
detail when sectioning a
transom.
For the actual Mullion you
have to trace the detail with
the Line tool.
This should be done in high
level; you don’t want too
much detail in a mullion. It
could make the Curtain wall
very heavy.
Next, The mullion needs the
correct placement on the
reference lines to be placed
correctly in the project.
First note where the glass will
be placed on the Transom.
The Centre Front and Back
Ref Line is the centre of the
glass.
Rotate the transom and place
the profile as shown.
Orientate the transom (Mirror)
According to its placement
interior/exterior if needed.
Save the file and call it
Bottom Transom.
