Curtain Walls and Mullions
The two windows’ mullions
don’t line up with another. To
align them,
1. Select the curtain wall
system; press the
button in the middle of
the curtain wall. Now
using the arrow,
choose the
justification (set out
point) of the curtain
wall. You can set the
origin of the curtain
grids by adding a
value to the top
(Vertical grids) or side
(Horizontal grids). Or
you can set the angle
of the grids next to the
origin button on both
vertical and horizontal.
2. Select the curtain wall
system, in the
instance properties,
you can set the values
similar to the above
In this case, change the
vertical grid offset to -1722mm
to make the mullions align
To create a custom Curtain
wall from existing
Storefront:
1 What Revit does by default:
On the storefront. Tab trough
the horizontal mullion to get to
the grid.
Unpin the Grid, and move the
Grid upwards.
