Family Creation 1 (Basics)
Draw a reference plane to the
side of the door where the
door handle will be located, as
per the image to the side.
In order to have the door
handle sit in the center of the
door, we will have to create an
equalising constraint to the
reference plane. Within the
“Annotate” tab, “Dimensions”
panel, click on the “Aligned
Dimension” icon.
Draw an aligned dimension
from the top of door reference
plane to the center of door
reference plane, to the bottom
of door reference plane, as
per the image to the side.
Equalise the aligned
dimension by clicking on the
“EQ” icon located near the
