Family Creation 1 (Basics)
Draw the door panel by
specifying the first corner at
the door frame, and the
second corner at the door
swing radius end-point.
To ensure that the door panel
is easily identified when
placed over a floor hatch
pattern, we have to add a
masking region to the
symbolic door panel. The
“Masking Region” is located
within the “Annotate” tab,
“Detail” panel.
Click on the rectangle icon, to
draw the masking region for
the door panel.
Draw the door panel from the
door frame to just below the
symbolic door panel line. We
do this to make aligning the
masking region top to the door
panel top easier to do.
Within the “Modify/Create
Masking Region Boundary”
contextual tab, “Modify” panel,
click on the “Align” icon.
