Family Creation 1 (Basics)
Deselect the “Plan/RCP” and
“When Cut In Plan/RCP (If
category permits)” rows. This
will hide the panel in the latter
views.
To draw the symbolic door
swing, click on the “Symbolic
Line” icon, located in the
“Annotate” tab, “Details”
Panel.
Within the “Modify/Place
Symbolic Line” contextual tab,
“Draw” panel, click on the
“Center-ends Arc” icon.
Within the “Subcategory”
panel, expand the type of lines
dropdown. Choose the “Plan
Swing - Projection” linestyle.
To draw the symbolic door
swing, specify a center point
for the arc with your first
mouse click, and for the
second mouse click, specify
the radius. Draw a half-arc
and end the arc by clicking the
arc ending point.
To draw the symbolic open
door panel, click on the
“Rectangle” icon within the
“Draw” panel.
