Conceptual Massing
If we decide to change the
Conceptual shape of our
building, we can do so in the
Conceptual Mass
environment. Once this has
been done the new Mass can
be loaded back into our Revit
project. The existing version
will be overridden.
You will have to go through
the project selecting Mass
Floors, Wall, Roofs and
Curtain Systems. Each of
these elements will have to be
told to ‘Update to Face’
It is possible to schedule the
floor areas of Mass Floors.
In an elevation view select the
bottom 2 Mass Floors. In their
properties set their Usage to
‘Retail’. The next 3 Mass
Floors above Usage must be
‘Offices’. The rest of the Mass
Floors in the building can be
set to ‘Residential.
