Draw the sketch to have
the ref plane on the centre
by drawing on both sides
EQ. the thickness is 8mm
and the length of the plate
Finish
Select Base
Set the Work plane to Ref.

repeat the same process
as above for the
thickness..
the length should be
40mm from the top.

12. Add an Extrusion on plan
to create the top of the T
similar to the image.
13. Save the Family as Steel
Support
14. Load the family into the
project.
15. In the Custom Staircase
3D View, Select the
handrail > Modify Tab >
Copy > Paste dropdown >
Paste aligned to the Same
Place.
