Family Creation 2 (parametric Arrays)
The name of this parameter
that we are now adding is
‘Array Number’. Click 'ok’. Once
this has been done you cannot
edit the array indicator
anymore by selecting an
element that is in the array.
You can now only access and
edit the number of elements
that are in the array via the
‘Family Types’ window.
We now need to update the
formula Width/4-20mm.
The number ‘4’ has now
become the Array Number
parameter hence the formula
will read: Width/Array
Number-20mm.
Now we can use this to Array
Number to tell our cupboard
how many doors it has in it.
Click on Family Types button, in
the value field for the
Parameter Array Number we
can insert the number of doors
which we want in our cupboard.
Notice how the Parameter,
Door Width changes value as
