WORKSHOP 6 – M ASSING PANELS
Open: 4 Massing
Panels.RVT
There are Masses and Curtain
Panels been placed by
pattern. To see the masses,
turn them on in the view, by
default, they will be off upon
project open.
There are 2 ways to apply a
curtain wall to a mass.
1, Apply by face.
Under Massing and Site
Tools, Select the Curtain Wall
by Face. Choose a curtain
wall type (Fence) from the
Type Selector. Select the face
of the model where the
Curtain wall should be applied
to. On the Ribbon, choose,
Create System.
The Curtain wall just placed
has the exact same properties
as a normal Curtain Wall. The
‘Fence’ has Glass between
the poles.
To change the curtain wall
type, select the system
Edit Type > Change the
Curtain Panel from NONE to
EMPTY SYSTEM. None
means glass.
