Site and Project Setup
To check that we have move
or are going in the right
direction Longitudinally we
click on the Coordinates drop-
down again and click on
Report Shared Coordinates.
We then pick the next
Longitude grid and compare
the values of the DWG and
what Revit is giving us. If you
do not get the same value but
the drawing has moved by the
correct distance, the space
between the Longitudinal grid
lines, then the drawing has
moved in the wrong direction.
To solve this we our value
needs to be either Positive or
Negative when Specifying
Coordinates at Point. Re-
specify the first Longitude grid
value but this time insert a ‘ - ‘
in front of the value. Then use
the Report Shared
Coordinates at Point again to
confirm that the drawing has
now move in the correct
direction
We do the exact same
process to the horizontal or
Latitude Grid lines
