I love to interview couples and write about their relationships
and special days…but in this case, bride Megan did such a
wonderful job telling the story herself, I didn’t want to reword
a thing. I’ll let Megan tell the story of her and Jeff ’s wedding

ugust 17, 2013 is a day I wil l remember forever—it was the day I got my fairy tale wedding.
My husband Jeff & I were a little unconventional
in how we went about doing things. We actually were
married in a private ceremony in Great Falls, Montana
the previous fall. Since we did it on a whim, none of our
friends and families were able to join us—and while the
day was special, we both wanted more. We randomly
chose the date to accommodate Jeff ’s busy schedule as a
hockey coach, but after announcing our date to family,
we discovered that August 17th was the same day Jeff ’s
grandparents, Minnie and Papa, were married, making
our day even more special.
