yan and Amber, classmates in a public speaking class
at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock
Springs in 2010, might have seemed like an unlikely
match from the start. “I could not stand him because he always
got better grades than me,” Amber says. Through a friend,
the two officially met and started dating December 26. They
weathered a long-distance relationship and Amber knew that
she wanted to marry Ryan.
