L
ocated in the heart of historic Downtown Cheyenne, the Gallery at the Met finds itself
conveniently located across the street from a parking structure and sitting beneath the
elegant drape of lights on 17th Street. The Metropolitan and the Gallery have been
recently recognized for their exceptionally significant historic preservation efforts and were
awarded the LeClercq L. Jones Award by the Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board in 2019.
Sitting adjacent to Cheyenne’s newest “hotspot” restaurant, the Metropolitan, there is inher-
ent convenience in offering gourmet food and drink options for any event need, from rehearsal
dinner to reception. The Gallery also offers catering options to help make your occasion ex-
ceptional. Highly acclaimed Chef Juan Coronado takes pride in expertly curating flavor and
presentation to provide the highest quality in food. A native of El Paso, Texas, Chef Coronado’s
training began early, helping his mother cook tamales and create fresh flour tortillas as a child.
He earned dual degrees in Food Science and Entrepreneurship from Johnson and Wales Univer-
sity in Denver, a top choice for aspiring chefs. He learned from some of the region’s best chefs
while in Denver, serving as Sous Chef at Panzano, an Italian restaurant with a distinguished
history of cultivating culinary talent. He led the kitchen for just shy of four years as Executive
Chef of Los Chingones, the Tag Restaurant Group’s modern Mexican restaurant, where he de-
livered inventive creations and organized the opening of their second and third locations. Chef
