Regan’s mom made sure to include a bit of
Manitoba in their Wyoming wedding. “My
mom insisted on doing favours, but I didn’t want
anything to do with them!” Regan says. “She took
that chore on herself and ordered local honey
from a nearby small town in Manitoba. It was
really cute and thoughtful – a nice touch from my
home!” Their guests commented on how nice they
were – “…plus {we received} some extra jars to
take back to Grand Forks with us,” Regan adds.
Their photographer, Ginny of Virginia Ruth
Photography, was a treasured find for them.
“Honestly, I could not recommend Ginny enough
– she’s an all-star!” Regan says. “She takes abso-
lutely beautiful photos and she’s a pleasure to work
with.” She guided their family and friends through
the day, helped them plan and stay on their
wedding day timeline, and contributed priceless
knowledge. “{She} left adequate time for anything
that could slow us down (like a limousine trying
to make it up Casper Mountain at eight miles per
hour, for example). I could not have planned a
successful wedding without her.”
Today the couple resides in Grand Forks,
North Dakota, where Riley is in his second year of
medical school at the University of North Dakota
and Regan is in her first year of a biomedical sci-
ences master’s program. “We are both very busy
but trying to enjoy the ride,” Regan says. n
