“Janelle was FANTASTIC! She has beautiful, crisp, clean photos, but on top of it she’s such a sweet person! I was very picky and Janelle was great. She had a second shooter who made it a dream team of photographers -Tara Bolgiano of Blushing Crow Studios. We knew the photos would be among the most important things from our wedding and these two didn’t disappoint. I can’t thank Janelle enough!” – Greg & Alex Today, the couple continue life in their Riverton home that they purchased two years ago, which carries a little extra special meaning now. “We actually got married right in our backyard, so that was really great for us,” Alex explains. “Now we have all of those memories close to us!” The home is undergoing a major renovation – a “…big, beautiful dream kitchen,” Alex adds – and the prospect of children is in their future. “We wanted to take a year or so to just enjoy each other before kids, but that’s definitely in the future,” Alex explains. They also had an exciting holiday season – “We’re spending our first Christmas as a married couple in Disneyworld!” Alex is eager to help couples learn from their experiences planning their own wedding, either as a former bride or in her job as a photographer in Riverton. “Think beyond the Mason jar and do you,” Alex stresses. “It’s your day, and your dream. The only people who matter are you and your fiancé. Much love to future couples, and just try to stay patient and know that something will go wrong!” In Alex and Greg’s case, the quick thinking of their friends saved the day. Be ready to roll with the punches, think quickly and ask for the help of those around you – and above all, remember that no matter what, you’re getting married. This is an incredible life step – enjoy it and remember it always! 35
