F
or many brides, wedding plans carry a little inspiration from the
little girl they were. For Crystal, her wedding carried a great deal
of that inspiration – and created forever memories.
“Brian is the most amazing, supportive, best friend a girl could have,”
Crystal says. “We met about nine years ago guiding on the river in
Jackson Hole. We guided for different companies and I remember being so nervous to go over to his guide trailer just to say hi.” Through
nine years of dating, Crystal knew that he was the one for her.
When it came to Brian’s proposal, he chose a place that was special to
the two of them. “We have gone climbing in the Wind River Mountains every year since we started dating, so they are definitely our special place,” Crystal explains. “We were climbing this climb on Steeple
Peak and there were some dark clouds rolling in. All I could think of
was getting off the summit and to the rappel.”
