Summa colentes iuga Parnasia Nymphae tenerae , Castalides puellae , si latices haurio suaves , Helicon vertice quos ab alto murmure agit dulcisono , si colui sacratam Aoniam parvulus , et reposita munera si quid a me valebunt , Hyblaeam candidula tyaram ferte manu , lilia ferte pulchra , Neapoleonem decorate , O , violis rosisque Neapoleonem Perusinae decus urbis , cui nomen avo par celebris fama dedit , perpeti agendum studio cum pietate nomen .

Tender Nymphs , dwelling on the topmost ridges of Parnassus , Castalian maids , if I drain the sweet waters which Helicon drives down from its lofty summit with sweetsounding murmur , if as a little boy I cultivated blessed Aonia , and if the gifts stored up by me have any power , bring forth with shining hand a crown of Hybla , bring beautiful lilies , O , adorn Napoleone with violets and roses , Napoleone , pride of the city of Perugia , to whom illustrious fame has given a name equal to his grandfather , a name to be celebrated with unending zeal and piety .
