Winchester College is a world leader in education . The school ’ s strength and influence reach across the globe . As I have contributed to this edition of the Wykeham Journal I have come to see how a school like Winchester can no longer be seen in isolation from wider society . That has meant many far-reaching changes , some of them described in the following pages . The school ’ s Founder revolutionised schooling to anticipate shifts in the society of his time . Adapting for the future will , I am sure , continue .
