Acknowledgements Acknowledgements Whether it takes the form of a one-off significant donation to Bursaries, which help change lives, a small regular sum given to the Annual Fund, which provides the school with a reliable income, a contribution in support of the new Sports Centre, or the ultimate gift of a legacy, your collective generosity produces an impressive result. You have donated £6.3m this year alone, and so made a huge difference to the lives of our pupils. We do not take this for granted. Thank you! BURSARIES You have donated over £1m to help ensure that any capable boy can benefit from a Winchester education, irrespective of his parents’ financial background. TE LE PHON E C A M PAIG N Thirteen recent leavers spoke to 558 parents and OWs, raising £204,000 towards the Annual Fund, Bursaries and our new Sports Centre. This year we will be embarking on something rather different, Wykeham Week, an alternative form of fundraising. Watch this space. CAMERON BESPOLK A OUTDOOR CL ASSROOM Overlooking the river, this wonderful project was funded entirely by your donations. Lorna Stoddart Director of Development Director of Winchester College Society HUDSON USP To celebrate 150 years of Boat Club and its tremendous success to date, you purchased a new high-performance boat to add to the fleet. T H E K I N G S G AT E PA R K S PORTS CENTRE At Winchester Match, in front of giant murals of our Olympic gold medallists, the Headmaster launched the public phase of fundraising for the new state-of-the-art sports facility. By the time of the launch we had secured £17.5m in income and pledges, 70% of our £25m fundraising target; the total is now £18.9m. Thank you for continuing to support the work that we do.
