Brandon Chan (C, 2017-) was awarded a distinction in his ATCL Violin Diploma – an outstanding achievement for a First Year boy. Recordings – The cover feature of the November 2017 edition of The Gramophone was Mozart’s Requiem. Inside the magazine there was an excellent review of Chapel Choir’s recording with the London Mozart Players. The Glee Club performed Brahms’s German Requiem and Song of Destiny in the Cathedral, and Bach’s Mass in B minor in New Hall. The new Visiting Artists Series welcomed eminent musicians to the College, including Benjamin Grosvenor, Adrian Brendal (G, 1990-94), James Gilchrist (A, 1979-84) and Stile Antico, directed by Andrew Griffiths (Coll, 1993-98).
