The slats for the benches are made from the leftovers of
the wooden arches from the tabletop. This means that
wood wastage is kept to a minimum.

The perforated central stainless steel sheet is exactly half
the size of a standard sheet, which means that none of the
material goes to waste during production.

minimum. From the very first sketch, the
idea was to design products that would last.
Not only technically, but also esthetically: we
do not design fashionable items you want
to get rid off after only two years. A tool for
togetherness must be a convenient product
for conviviality, which one can pass on to
the next generations, including the good
memories.
The desire to be sustainable influences every
design and production decision. Applying
quality materials ethically and wisely is
a main condition. We try to find solid
materials that look as good or even better
after time, if possible with few maintenance:
galvanised steel may not be the most
beautiful material, but it is ideal for outdoor
use. It is resistant to corrosion and lasts for
a long time without any traces of wear.
