Dear Potential New Members, On behalf of Wichita State University’s Panhellenic Community, we would like to welcome you to our campus. We are so excited that you have decided to participate in Formal Recruitment and we are honored to serve as your Executive Recruitment Committee. As you begin your college journey, you will be opened to many opportunities, joining a sorority is the perfect place to start. Our experience with Greek Life has helped us grow as independent, confident leaders and we hope you will find great experiences as well. Formal Recruitment has been carefully planned to provide you with the opportunity to learn about the sorority community. During Formal Recruitment you will observe that the sororities share common goals and values, yet, each chapter has its own character and personality. Choosing a sorority is not an easy task or one that should be taken lightly. Just remember to follow your heart and choose a sorority that will allow you to be yourself and help you grow. This task would not be possible without our Recruitment Counselors, known as Rho Gammas. Your Rho Gamma will provide information about the recruitment process, stay with you during Formal Recruitment, and provide a listening ear as you make decisions concerning sorority membership. Take advantage of your Rho Gamma because she can offer valuable information regarding sorority life, academic classes, and other opportunities waiting for you here at WSU. Her job is to help you and make the entire recruitment process easier for you in whatever way she is able. with love, Wichita State University Executive Board Emry Woelk President Marina King Vice President Susan Lickteig Recruitment Coordinator Meet the Rho Gammas AF • DDD • DG Here are a few tips we have learned over the years: 1.
