They also participate in Girls on the Run, which is an organization that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. They also support Heartspring, a worldwide center for children with special needs, by hosting Grilled Cheese with G Phi B’s in the spring semester. The chapter emphasizes sisterhood with fall and spring sisterhood retreats and loyalty circle events. Gamma Phi Beta is founded upon four core values that continuously guide and shape their chapter: Love, Labor, Learning and Loyalty. With over 40 officer positions, Gamma Phi Beta offers their women a variety of leadership opportunities. As a Gamma Phi Beta, one will develop eternal friendships with women who offer encouragement, inspiration and will always be by her side. I love traveling, and I’ve been out of the country a handful of times. My favorite trip was last spring break when I traveled to Haiti with a group from WSU. I had the opportunity to volunteer in a school and spend time with the beautiful children.
