Representatives of the Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation participated in a September 2020 ribbon-cutting ceremony for Mountainland Technical College ’ s ( MTech ) Trades & Technology Building . MTech is a school located in northern Utah and is aimed at providing technical education for adults and secondary students .
The 89,000-square-foot facility features high-bay labs and state-of-the-art shops for instruction in automotive technology and diesel mechanics . Thanks to donors like the Miller Family Foundation , the MTech program has and will continue to be a resource for entry-level technicians and apprentices looking to make a career in the automobile industry , including at LHM dealerships . MTech also hosts the Ford Ace program , which allows students to obtain Ford training credentials .
This is another example of the Miller family ’ s commitment to furthering education for those who may be disadvantaged . In this case , it also encourages the next generation of highlevel automotive technicians who can service vehicles at our various dealerships .
