Steve Starks spoke about the importance of resilience and working collaboratively as an organization and as a community , especially during hard times . He said , “ While 2020 has taught us that change is the only constant and that we may not be able to foresee what lies ahead , we can take comfort that our collective group , you and I , will be able to rise to the occasion when we are confronted with obstacles and challenges . Because we just proved that we can .”
Who We Are was also the stage that Steve used to introduce a video created to start a dialogue around mental and emotional well-being and the important role each of us can play .
Gail Miller expressed her gratitude to all employees for their commitment to living our values and leading with love . She shared what Driven by Heart means to her and encouraged us to support one another . She said , “ Driven by Heart is about connecting with the hearts of the people you interact with and then working to better understand each other . Driven by Heart means knowing and caring about what inspires and empowers people . It ’ s about caring enough to know what is important to them and helping them feel valued and significant . It ’ s about helping them succeed .”
