It is much the same for many fans who have a nice bicycle sitting in their garage right alongside their motorcycle .
Now Motul has a new and fresh range of care products to look after your other pride-and-joy . In general , you can split the process of looking after your bicycle into four consecutive processes .
First of all , Motul has two main cleaning products . Motul Frame Clean dissolves and cleans the most persistent dirt during washing . Suitable for paint-coated surfaces as well as the most sensitive materials such as lacquer , chrome , paints , carbon fibre and plastics . Motul Dry Clean is formulated to clean bicycle frames and wheels without water , leaving a waterproof protection on surfaces . The next stage of care is degreasing , to keep moving parts from seizing up or wearing prematurely . Motul Chain Clean is suitable for all types of bicycle chains using its strong dissolving power to remove the toughest dirt . It perfectly prepares the chain for optimal lubrication and its protective formula prevents aluminium , brass and non-ferrous metals from deteriorating .
Motul Brake Clean is a powerful , fast-drying , solvent-free , water-based bicycle brake cleaner . Specially formulated with readily biodegradable ingredients to clean brakes , brake rotors and pad residue . It dissolves oil , grease and tar and does not leave marks .
Once your machine is clean and dry , the third step is lubrication . You can opt for Motul Chain Lube Dry - or Chain Lube Wet for all weather conditions . Each offers very high lubricating capacity for bicycle chains , drivetrains , cassettes , cranksets , derailleurs , etc . Like all the other Motul bicycle care products outlined here , they are suitable for conventional and electric bikes .
For the other moving parts on the machine , Motul EZ Lube contains readily biodegradable ingredients with excellent wicking that penetrates even the narrowest of surfaces to dissolve the most stubborn greases and oils . Penetrating properties suitable for all moving parts of the bicycle ( pedals , cables …) and mechanical parts ( screws , nuts …). EZ Lube also forms a thick , long-lasting , anti-corrosion lubricant and protective film . Finally , Motul Tubeless Tire Sealant can plug holes caused by small and medium punctures in all tubeless bicycle tires , and works immediately without needing a long time to ‘ cure ’.

Prepara perfectamente la cadena para una óptima lubricación y su fórmula protectora evita el deterioro del aluminio , latón y metales no ferrosos .
Motul Brake Clean es un potente limpiador de frenos a base de agua , de secado rápido y sin disolventes , especialmente formulado con ingredientes fácilmente biodegradables para eliminar residuos de pastillas de freno de los discos . Disuelve aceites , grasas y alquitrán y no deja marcas .
Una vez tenemos la máquina totalmente limpia y seca , el tercer paso es la lubricación . Podemos optar por Motul Chain Lube Dry o por Motul Chain Lube Wet para cualquier condición climáticaa . Ambos tienen una capacidad lubricante muy elevada para cadenas de bicicletas , transmisiones , casetes , bielas , desviadores , etc . Como todos los productos Motul para mantenimiento de bicicletas aquí descritos , son adecuados tanto para las convencionales como para las eléctricas .
Creado para el tratamiento de otras piezas móviles de la bicicleta , Motul EZ Lube está compuesto por elementos fácilmente biodegradables y de excelente absorción que penetran incluso en los puntos más inaccesibles para disolver las grasas y aceites más rebeldes . Sus propiedades penetrantes resultan aptas para todos los elementos móviles ( pedales , cables …) y mecánicos ( turecas , tornillos …). Motul EZ Lube también forma una película anticorrosiva protectora y lubricante espesa y duradera . Por último , el sellador de neumáticos sin cámara Motul puede tapar cualquier agujero causado por pinchazos pequeños y medianos en los neumáticos sin cámara y funciona inmediatamente sin que requiera mucho tiempo para “ sanar ”.
