What ’ s it like being Italian and racing at Misano ? It ’ s a fantastic sensation , you really feel the fans and you have more power to fight . Nothing is like racing at home !
You prefer going to ‘ new ’ WorldSBK tracks or old favourites ? My favourites tracks are the old ones , because there is a lot of history . A lot of battles from all the heroes of our sport .
When are you most happy away from the race track ? When I ’ m with my family , my friends , my dogs and cat . When I have these things I feel in peace with myself .
Where is your dream holiday destination and why ? I think the Maldives or a holiday with my friends in some special place where we can also ride motorbikes together .
If you had to watch one other sport on TV , what would it be ? Skiing . I did ski races when I was young and I really like to watch it now on TV . Also to practice myself , it is one of my favourite sports .
Describe yourself in five words ? Young , Free , Determined , Solar , Grateful .
If you could own a tiger as a pet , would you ? I really like tigers and all animals in general , but I think every animal should have the right to stay in its natural habitat . This is real love for the animals .

Com ' è essere italiano e correre a Misano ? È una sensazione fantastica , senti veramente il tifo attorno a te e questo ti dà più forza per combattere . Non c ’ è niente di meglio che correre a casa !
Preferisci correre sulle " nuove " piste del WorldSBK o su quelle vecchie e storiche ? I miei tracciati preferiti sono quelli vecchi , proprio perché sono pieni di storia . Mi tornano in mente le tante battaglie combattute dagli eroi del nostro sport .
Quando sei più felice lontano dalla pista ? Quando sono con la mia famiglia , i miei amici , i miei cani e il mio gatto . Quando ho tutto questo vicino mi sento in pace con me stesso .
Qual ’ è la meta delle tue vacanze da sogno e perché ? Penso alle Maldive , oppure ad una vacanza con i miei amici in qualche posto speciale , dove possiamo magari andare in moto insieme .
Se dovessi guardare un altro sport in TV , quale sarebbe ? Lo sci . Ho partecipato a gare di sci da giovane e mi piace molto guardarle ora in TV . E ’ uno dei miei sport preferiti , anche come allenamento .

Se potessi possedere una tigre come animale domestico , lo faresti ? Mi piacciono molto le tigri e tutti gli animali in generale , ma penso che ogni animale dovrebbe avere il diritto di vivere nel proprio habitat naturale . Ritengo che questo significhi amare veramente gli animali .

Describe yourself in five words ? Relaxed . Funny . Unique . Motivated . Chilled .
Countryside or seaside ? I like being at the seaside , but I am a little bit scared of the sea itself , funnily enough . I don ’ t like not being able to see what ’ s underneath me . So I would probably choose the countryside .
What kind of things could you fix on your own bike if they went wrong ? I could do most things , like wheel changes , swingarm changes . I am not bad on the spanners . I have learned a lot from my dad over the years .
What ’ s it like have Shane ‘ Shakey ’ Byrne as your mentor ? It is like gold dust to have him on my side . Not just for the management side of things but the personal side . He helps me throughout race weekends and to deal with other situations . He wants to give me the easiest way through . He wants to point me in the correct way in life .
You look like some gentle college student but ride like the devil . Has then been remarked on before ? It has been mentioned a few times ! Especially when I had big fluffy hair and the glasses on ; I don ’ t look like a normal motorcycle racer . I am a nice person off the track but as soon as I get on track I want to beat everyone in front of me .

Campagna o mare ? Mi piace stare al mare , ma stranamente ho un po ' paura del mare . Non mi piace non poter vedere cosa c ' è sotto di me . Quindi probabilmente sceglierei la campagna .
Che tipo di cose potresti aggiustare sulla tua moto se si guastasse ? Potrei fare la maggior parte delle cose , come cambiare una ruota , o un forcellone . Non sono male con le chiavi inglesi . Ho imparato molto da mio padre nel corso degli anni .
Com ' è avere Shane " Shakey " Byrne come mentore ? Averlo con me è come avere della polvere d ' oro . Non solo per il lato gestionale delle cose , ma anche per quello personale . Durante i weekend di gara mi aiuta ad affrontare molte situazioni . Mi rende la vita più facile . Mi indirizza sulla strada giusta nella vita .
Sembri un mite studente Universitario , ma guidi come un diavolo . Te lo avevano mai detto prima ? Si , un paio di volte ! Soprattutto quando avevo i capelli folti e gli occhiali . Non sembro il solito pilota . Sono una brava persona fuori dal circuito , ma non appena entro in pista voglio battere tutti quelli che trovo davanti a me .
