TRACK DESCRIPTION
START / FINISH TO T1 T1 itself is not super-fast . Last year because the track surface started off quite dirty you had to be really precise under braking to not go out of the line . T1 is not really difficult , it is a case of hard braking and trying to make the apex really nicely . You just need to be precise there .
T1
T17 It ’ s not too hard . Just try to be nice and smooth . It ' s not a hard braking zone , but it ' s more about the exit to try to have good acceleration to the to the main straight and then another lap .
T4
T3
T2
T1- T2 / T3 / T4 It ’ s a big acceleration section from T1 , but really short . And then T2- T3-T4 are taken together . It ’ s really , really tricky and it ' s really slow . There is a hard braking zone , a lot of braking on the lean angle in T2 . And then you have a really slow change of direction into T3 . You are then more-or-less already in T4 . It is hard to enter to find the right line between T3 and T4 and have the good acceleration for there . This is one of the most important parts of the track .
T12
T13
T5
T6
T5 / T6 / T7 Another important section is T5-T6-T7 . If you miss the line between T3 and T4 you miss all the acceleration to the next corners . So this is kind of a key point to find some speed . Then it is up the gears into fourth and I think fifth on the exit . It ’ s superfast ! It ’ s all on the throttle and sometimes you almost don ’ t want to close the throttle from the entry of T5 to the entry of T7 . So , the bike is really heavy there , really hard to make the bike turn . It ’ s important to try to make the bike slide , the rear slide , to help make the turn with the rear .

T8
T7
T9
T8 / T9 / T10 When you go into T7 you don ' t see the exit and it ' s uphill into T6-T7-T8 , and then downhill . You don ' t see the exit when you go into T7 and it is a really , really fast change of direction . It ' s super-easy to go a bit too wide and cut the curb and go the green which is absolutely not allowed anymore . In T8 and T9 . So again , precision is really the key there to find the right spot to lean the bike . I think it ' s around a 200km corner , a big change of direction and kind of blind - so a lot of speed . It ’ s important to try to stay on the track not go too crazy on the curve because the bike shakes a lot and the brake pads goes away . I think this is the corner where you see the most mistakes in the race . You always want to ‘ overbrake ’ there . Because you always feel like you ' re too slow and you brake too late . If you are behind someone it ' s a really nice spot to try to outbrake someone .
