FAN GUIDE
PARC FERME & PODIUM
CELEBRATIONS
Immediately after the races have been completed there will be almost a ‘ pop-up ’ victory lane that starts at the Motul Action Box and ends at the special ‘ mini-parc ferme ’ reserved for the top three riders and the top ‘ Independent Rider .’ The riders and their bikes get the full red carpet treatment as they ride out of the Motul Action Box , through a controlled wall of fans on either side , dishing out mobile high fives as they head to the special Parc Ferme area .
The initial TV interviews are done there , and then the riders are escorted onto the special podium inside the paddock , designed to let the fans get up close to the competitors as they receive their awards . Another initiative that has been very well received is that the riders are then immediately taken to the Paddock Show stage itself . This means that the fans get to see the riders being interviewed by the Paddock Show presenter - even before the press get to take part in their interview ‘ scrums ’ inside the media centre .
