In your leisure time , what would you like to do ? I like every type of sport . And being out in the mountains with my girlfriend and my dog . I also have a big passion for cars .
So you have a nice car ? Since last year I have had an ‘ old ’ car that I have liked since I was a child - a Corvette C5 . After 20 years I bought one ! I like classic American or old cars .
Did you , do you , have a ‘ real ’ job ? I am in the Police , the Fiamme Oro , which is the sports part of the police . In practice I have the salary of a policeman and what I am doing for the moment is training with other guys inside this group . While I race bikes I am doing it like this , after I stop racing I can choose to stay in the police or leave . It is very nice because I can be a little bit more relaxed about the future , and for the moment they help me .
Where would you most like to race that you have never raced before ? I think Spa Francorchamps - or Suzuka . That looks like a beautiful track with a big story .
What does it mean to race at Imola again ? For me , I live 20 minutes from Imola so it is my local track ! I love the circuit , I think it is one of my favourites so I am really happy to race there again . It is not an easy track and I think you have to be 100 % with your bike to be fast . There are a lot of critical parts .

Nel tuo tempo libero , cosa ti piacere fare ? Mi piace ogni tipo di sport . Amo stare in montagna con la mia ragazza ed il mio cane . Ho anche una grande passione per le auto .
Quindi hai una bella macchina ? Dallo scorso anno ho una macchina d ’ epoca che mi è piaciuta fin da bambino : una Corvette C5 . Dopo 20 anni ne ho comprata una ! Mi piacciono molto le vecchie auto classiche americane .
Avevi un lavoro " reale "? Sono nella Polizia , faccio parte delle Fiamme Oro , che è la sezione sportiva della Polizia . In pratica percepisco lo stipendio di un poliziotto e per il momento quello che sto facendo è allenarmi con altri ragazzi all ' interno di questo gruppo . Ora che corro in moto faccio così , quando smetterò di correre potrò scegliere se restare in polizia o andarmene . È molto bello sia perché posso essere un poco più rilassato riguardo al mio futuro , e sia perché per il momento mi stanno aiutando .
Dove ti piacerebbe di più correre dove non hai mai corso prima ? Penso Spa Francorchamps o Suzuka . Mi sembrano due belle piste , con una grande storia .
Cosa significa tornare a correre a Imola ? Per me che abito a 20 minuti da Imola è la mia pista di casa ! Adoro il circuito , penso che sia uno dei miei preferiti , quindi sono davvero felice di correrci di nuovo . Non è una pista facile e penso che il tuo feeling con la moto debba essere al 100 % se vuoi essere veloce . Ci sono molti punti critici .

How would you describe yourself in five words ? Solar , nice , determined , optimistic , genuine .
What is your best feature ? Sunny by nature but an aggressive ( but not too much ) rider .
Football / Rugby / Basketball ? What is your favourite non-motorcycle sport ? Actually , I like Boxing more .
Your favourite place to be when you are away from home ? Anywhere with my team !
How many hours a week do you train ? How do you train ? It is about fifteen hours a week . I do Motocross at the weekends , otherwise I like running , cycling and working out in the gym .
Best thing about being a bike racer ? The emotions and adrenaline it gives you are really great .
Worst thing about being a bike racer ? Why ? It ’ s an activity that is sometimes not very meritocratic .
Which racetrack that you have never been to so far do you most want to go to ? I think I want to race most of all at Phillip Island in Australia .
Who is your biggest hero away from motorcycle racing ? I don ' t have any ‘ heroes ’ outside of motorcycling . Tony Cairoli did motocross , but that is still a form of motorcycling .
Where do you see yourself in five years ? Riding in the Superbike World Championship .

Come ti descriveresti in cinque parole ? Solare , simpatico , determinato , ottimista , genuino .
Qual è la tua caratteristica migliore ? Sono solare per natura e sono un pilota aggressivo ( ma non troppo ).
Calcio / Rugby / Basket ? Qual è il tuo sport non motociclistico preferito ? In realtà , mi piace di più la boxe .
Il tuo posto preferito quando sei lontano da casa ? Ovunque , ma con la mia squadra !
Quante ore alla settimana ti alleni ? Come ti alleni ? Mi alleno circa quindici ore a settimana . Nei weekend pratico il motocross , in alternativa mi piace correre , andare in bicicletta ed allenarmi in palestra .
La cosa migliore dell ' essere un pilota ? Le emozioni e l ' adrenalina che ti regala sono davvero grandi .
La cosa peggiore dell ' essere un pilota ? E perché ? È un ' attività a volte poco meritocratica .
In quale circuito in cui non sei mai stato fino ad ora vorresti correre ? Penso che mi piacerebbe correre soprattutto a Phillip Island in Australia .
Chi è il tuo più grande eroe lontano dalle corse motociclistiche ? Non ho " eroi " al di fuori del motociclismo . Di certo il crossista Tony Cairoli , ma si tratta ancora di una specialità motociclistica .
Dove ti vedi tra cinque anni ? Nel campionato mondiale Superbike .
