Grand Ridge Brewery is one of Australia ’ s first and most recognized craft breweries being 100 % Independently Australian and family-owned . We are extremely excited about sponsoring the 2023 Motul FIM Superbike World Championship here at Phillip Island , in our own backyard .
Our brewery is housed in an old butter factory in Mirboo North , a small country town in the Gippsland region of Victoria . We chose the site for its exceptional water quality for beer and cider making , given its position on the very top of the mountains in the Strzelecki Ranges .
After extensive product testing to achieve the highest standards in pure beer , we started pioneering the Australian Craft Beer Industry in June 1989 .
With a strong passion for pure products with no added chemicals or preservatives , our wonderful brewers have achieved more than 300 National and International awards over the last three decades , making Grand Ridge Brewery one of the world ’ s most awarded breweries .
The World Superbike Event is the perfect platform to share our beers and ciders with locals , people from around Australia and all over the world . It ' s a great opportunity for mates , families and groups to get away and enjoy a great racing weekend together .

On behalf of the Victorian Government , welcome to Phillip Island for 2023 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at Phillip Island ’ s Grand Prix Circuit .
It ’ s great to have riders , crew and fans back at Phillip Island so soon after hosting the 2022 season finale in November 2022 . The event brings thousands of visitors to the region , which is great news for local businesses . Phillip Island ’ s 4.4km circuit produces thrilling action for riders and spectators . Over the weekend-long event , fans will have the chance to see ASBK – Australian Superbike Championship categories of Superbike , Supersport , and Supersport 300 .

Fans from near and far will flock to Phillip Island to experience the fastest action with amazing viewing from all vantage points . Away from the circuit there is plenty more to discover . See little penguins and sleepy koalas in their natural habitat , surf wild ocean breaks or splash about with the kids in a quiet bay and dine by the water .

It comes with great excitement to welcome you to Phillip Island for the season opening Grand Ridge Brewery Australian Round of World Superbikes . I would like to extend a warm welcome from the Linfox organisation and the Fox Family to all riders , team members , spectators , staff , and dedicated volunteers .
We are set for three days of adrenaline filled excitement , and Aussie pride will be beaming as we welcome Remy Gardner for his maiden start in World Superbikes - the first Australian to do so full-time since 2016 . Oli Bayliss returns in World Supersport and we take this opportunity to wish both Remy and Oli Bayliss the best of luck throughout the weekend .
Round 1 of ASBK returns with Australian Superbike , Supersport ( including the new SuperTwins Cup ) and Supersport 300 . We congratulate Motorcycling Australia for their work on growing this Championship .
