Join us as we discover the incredible true story of Hanna and Walter Kohner— childhood sweethearts from Czechoslovakia whose lives were torn apart by the Holocaust, yet whose love endured against all odds. Julie Kohner shares the remarkable love story of her parents, Holocaust survivors Hanna and Walter. Through personal storytelling and a rare 1953 episode of This Is Your Life, she brings their legacy of resilience and hope to life.

Memorial service to commemorate Israel’ s fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism. Yom Hazikaron is not simply a day of remembrance. It is a day of deep connection— to families who carry loss every day, to a people whose resilience is written into Jewish history, and to the values of courage, sacrifice, and hope that continue to sustain the State of Israel.

Celebrate Israel’ s Independence with a vibrant, family – friendly event with food, music, activities, and more for all ages. We will also host the 2nd Annual“ Light the Way” torch lighting ceremony in collaboration with Jewish Community Federation of Richmond and community Shlichah Tal. Stay tuned for more details!
