From April 30th – May 1st, the gallery space at 24
James Street will be featuring a free, open house art
gallery featuring work by local artists Ashley St Pierre,
Matthew Vizbulis, Lacie Williamson & more! Open to
the public, family friendly, and interactive, featuring a
community art project! Here’s a quick look @ some of
the sweet pieces to be displayed:
On Sunday, April 10th @ 7pm “Artists Performing
Work They Wrote as Kids!” will be storming Mahtay
Café to unearth “shitty fanfiction from days of yore”.
All funds raised will go towards sending local poet
Kathleen Driscoll to the Canadian Individual Poetry
Slam in Vancouver (for her first time!). Make sure to
check it out for a great time and a way to support local
artists!
On Sunday, June 5th, King Street’s Market Square will
be overtaken by food vendors, cruelty free consumer
goods, and action groups through the annual Niagara
VegFest! Volunteers are needed, and you don’t want
to miss this day of fun! To sign up, contact Kristin at
