Petition to our Mother / Adam Centurione Dear Mother, You are so kind, and I am grateful. Your request, for the unconditional love you express only to be shared, has allowed me to persevere. At times it can be hard, for some have forgotten the circle, and the good life. I ask for your forgiveness in these times, when I am angry. Now Mother, with your request to share the love you offer me, I seek to complete the circle. MinoPimatisiwin: I am seeking the good life. Within the circle are each equally distributed the four sacred colors of human beings, of brothers and sisters. Dear Mother, it would seem we have forgotten of our relations. So now Mother, my heart looks in all directions. Whilst you do your duty, to protect your children, who are our elders, I seek a good life through the love that you freely share. In the quiet moments I hear a whisper in my heart – patience. So Mother, please understand, I seek to honor the circle, honor my relations. I put my trust into the circle so that while the seasons of the world change your love will not be forgotten. May there be peace for all those who know the Earth to be sacred. 8
