achieve those dreams”. In a much different world, at least some of these were significantly easier to come by (maybe not romantic love, but definitely a job…). Arguably, we live in a time of crisis, with the majority of citizens in this cohort finding themselves unable to support themselves financially, gain long-term employment (or any employment at all if you find yourself in the Niagara region), move out on their own, or even afford fresh and healthy food. Accumulatively, these external stressors likely create and sustain a general buzzing fear in the back of our heads, which is likely a major contributor of the increasingly poor health of this controversial cohort. Rather than looking internally at neurological deficiencies and placing the blame primarily onto cognitive processes, I believe it is time to expand our collective focus outwards in critical examination of our quickly degrading surroundings. 10
