homes to air-conditioned cars to airconditioned destinations. Locals generally carry a light jacket even
though the temperature might be, and generally is, in the triple digits.
Somewhere it is written that all restaurants, casinos, movie theaters,
shopping malls, etc. set their thermostats somewhere between icy and

This is certainly an interesting year to say the least. I don’t generally
get into politics or religion when I’m writing, but what has been going on
in the media often borders on fiction, complete with the drama and
occasional laughs or heartwarming stories—villains and heroes. My heart
goes out to the victims of outrageous acts like the bombings and
wholesale loss of life. This isn’t some thriller in the movies where it’s all
smoke and mirrors, and the characters pop back to life in other movies. It
is reality, and it really sucks.

Characterization workshop I presented in Los Angeles was a real
success. I love when attendees tell me that I’ve inspired them or that
I’ve opened up their thinking. A big thank you to West Coast Writers
Conferences for frequently inviting me to be a presenter or panel
member, and now we are in talks for me to present more Master
Classes.

.Now for the upcoming release of DIAMONDS IN THE DUMPSTER. Well,
unfortunately, it is still behind the target schedule. But we are getting
there as you can see from the new cover. Yep, we finally got that far. So,
Silver Sisters fans, I can say with confidence that you can look for the
Kindle and paperback release in late July or early August. It’s been a while
coming, but wait until you see what the Silver family is into this time.
HINT - the turban plays a big part.
Another fast-moving, action-packed escapade and this time
octogenarians mother Flossie and Uncle Sterling, the former vaudeville magicians, are center stage.
