I did go to New York on March 17 and was the co-narrator of an episode of“ A Crime to Remember,” for the Discovery ID TV channel which will air sometime in 2017. It was quite the experience to see how it is done. Although I’ ve been on live TV, this was a new page in the book. It rained most of the time I was there, and I flew back to Las Vegas that Saturday. Well, wouldn’ t you know it? It snowed in New York on Sunday and since I rarely“ do cold,” the timing to go back home was perfect for me. The following week Cheryl Pierson Cuccio( Incest, Murder and a Miracle) filmed an entire segment for a new Discovery ID channel series which will also air in 2017, centered around her murder-for-hire case that occurred in the late 80s.
Speaking of Incest, Murder and a Miracle, the manuscript I coauthored with Cheryl and her husband Rob Cuccio, is now represented by literary agent Paul S. Levine.
The proposal is finished for the new true crime book entitled Monster’ s Shadow, written with Jenn Carson, the daughter of a serial killer, and we are moving forward on writing the book. Being raised in a loving family, I never realized the severe traumatic effect a parent’ s criminal activities have on their children. It is quite eye-opening. We had a good writing session here in Las Vegas at the beginning of April.
The Anthem Authors Club invited me to speak to them on April 12 and my presentation on characterization was received enthusiastically, followed by an active question and answer period. Bob Meadows placed a lovely write up about it in the Sun City Anthem Magazine. Thank you Bob.
The activities continued. Painted Stories V was presented by Writers of Southern Nevada at the Clark County Library on April 24 with readings by authors Geoff Schumacher( Sun, Sin and Suburbia) who is Director of Content Development for the Mob Museum, and
