beginning of 2015, the circulation has increased steadily every

I was reflecting upon how this eZine came into being. I have
always loved to network, help to promote others as well as
myself and share information. When the Sisters in Crime
chapter was active in Las Vegas, I was Vice President and
volunteered to do the newsletter. Sadly, when the board
termed out at 3 years, we had people who enthusiastically
attended the meetings but no one was willing to serve on the
board, so we had to disband the chapter. But, the board
members remained friends and we have lunch once a month.

Anyway, there I was. Someone who loved doing the newsletter,
with no organization to publish one for. After several months I
decided to launch the Writers Tricks of the Trade newsletter. It
began as a few pages with a typical PDF newsletter setup. But, I
had wonderful people in the industry contributing articles, news
and resources I wanted to share. It kept growing and growing.
The bigger it got, the more I experimented and the more the
style of the Writers Tricks of the Trade eZine evolved. At the
beginning of this year it got a new look for the covers.

It has been quite a journey and learning curve as I discovered
what worked and what didn’t. The Life Story feature has proven
to be very popular, and I think the story from Dennis Poncher
will blow you away. It is the ultimate inspirational saga of
turning disaster into something that has helped families
worldwide for the past 30 years. That is why the theme of the
