2014 was a year of good, not so good and bad, so let’s focus
on the good. During 2014 the first two Silver Sisters Mysteries
went back into publication after the original publisher closed
their doors following the tragic death of one partner. So Goldie

zany fashion, complete with backfires, twists, turns and finally
that magic moment when they nail the bad guy, bad gal or bad
group. Just one more book to go now to have the full series
resurrected. Vanishing Act in Vegas is targeted to release in early
2015. My co-author/sister Phyllice Bradner and I look forward
to finally being able to finish Caper #4, Diamonds in the
Dumpster, which was begun before L&L Dreamspell closed.
In March I participated in the Local Author Collection launch
party at Paseo Verde Library in Henderson NV. Several of my
books are now in their collection. I also was part of the Spring
Fling at Clark County Library in Las Vegas at the end of that
month.
In April Bella Capo and I appeared at Barnes & Noble in
Henderson with a talk and signing of La Bella Mafia to kick off a
bookfair to benefit the Safe House women’s shelter. The
following day, we appeared at a private event sponsored by the
Ladies Making a Difference Meetup group to also benefit Safe
House.

By the beginning of June I was really ready for an R&R
because I’d been going non-stop since 2013. What a way to
“drop out” for a little while. Dylan the Dog and I drove to Big
Bear CA and stayed in a rented cabin for a week. Whew. I think I
was sent a message about relaxation. I’d forgotten my computer
mouse and don’t do well with the touchpad, so I actually vegged
out!
