derful climate without the threat of hurri-
canes, tornados, earthquakes, and other
natural disasters.
Here I sit in my air-conditioned office
working on two new books. The 5th Silver
Sisters Mystery, co-authored with my real
life sister Phyllice Bradner (yet to receive
a title), and the 5th book in the Revenge is
Fun series—Scammed. I’ve presented the
workshop Ripped from the Headlines
twice this year in different venues—the
Las Writers Group in May with co-
presenter high-profile private eye Vito
Collucci Jr. and at the Greater Los Angeles
Writers Conference with co-presenter
best-selling New York Times author Mi-
chael Fleeman at the end of June. This
workshop has proved so popular that I
will present it once again at the Clark
County Library in Las Vegas in October.
I am happy to announce that the op-
tion for Incest, Murder and a Miracle has
been picked up by Sony Pictures for a se-
cond year. The Dr. Oz episode with Cheryl
and Rob Cuccio aired again and as before,
book sales soared. Cheryl and Rob con-
tinue on their mission to raise awareness
and prevention of child and domestic
abuse. Ditto for Bella Capo and her book
No More Crying Angels. Both of these are
“must reads.”
Our Associate Editor, Dylan the Dog,
has now fully recuperated from his sur-
geries and is bouncing around, pain free,
like a much younger dog. He continues to

enjoy visits from his friend Sparky, the
curious Rat Terrier.
