Feedback
Readers’ Comments
We received the following feedback on our first issue (available HERE if you haven’t
read it) from reader Janette Crawford, thank you!
I would like to say how much I enjoyed the first edition of Writers Abroad magazine. I was enjoying it
so much I almost missed my bus!
I like the mix of fiction, the variety of non-fiction and images - there is something here for everyone to
enjoy and I think the length is right.
I particularly liked Doreen Porter’s ‘Over the Rainbow’. What a great idea and I’m sure some of my
own neglected fictional characters must be lurking in that waiting room. I think I should take a look
and retrieve them. Thank you Doreen for that prompt.
Also, Paola Fornari’s Bangles, Bottles and Baksheesh reminded me of my time in India and the
haggling over carpets, leather goods or really anything at all. It could often be frustrating but mostly it
was enjoyable and as Paola said, if the negotiations ended in smiles all round - then everybody
gained.
Well done to all contributors. It’s always good to hear and connect and compare experiences with
people who live around the world. I hope the magazine is a success and I look forward to the next and
many more editions.
Have you got a couple of minutes?
We hope you’ve enjoyed our second issue of WA magazine and would love to hear
what you think. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated and help us to improve
our publication.
Please click on WA Mag Feedback- it really does only take a couple of minutes.
And you can email us your comments at [email protected]
Finally, are you an illustrator or budding artist (or know someone who is?) we’re
looking for someone who can produce drawings that represent the content of the
magazine. Whilst we can’t offer any financial reward, the magazine will provide a
platform for your work, a little like a free marketing avenue! Contact us at the above
email address if you are interested
