WRITERS ABROAD MAGAZINE: THE THIRD SPACE OLD? NOT ME... BY CHRISTINE NEDAHL When did ageing mean being sedate? Take to town, get home late. Mum and Dad never allowed it, moaned and groaned, frowned and admonished. Then the kids curbed quite a bit, all you needed a wink of sleep squeezed between the monitor bleep and constant feeding frenzy. Take the last bus, stay with a friend, fun's not the remit of young and trendy. Girlfriend, boyfriend, husband or wife, have a blast, enjoy while there's still life. Rebel against pastel and beige, live for the day drink gin and tonics. Life is a journey never slink out - exit with panache more fun in that. 31 | MAY 2017
