Welcome to the sixth issue of our Writers Abroad Magazine: The Third Space.
Once again, we’ve produced a wide range content to suit all literary tastes. We
hope this will whet your appetite for our work and give an insight into our lives
as ex-pat writers, ‘off the page’.
Writers Abroad’s members are a diverse group of writers living in countries
around the world. Each of us has a rich mixture of interests and experiences,
which we share with you in this free publication. Our members continue to
enjoy considerable success, notably in the Ad Hoc Fiction Competition and in
Writing Magazine including a prize of a writing retreat (see page 31). Members’
work is also widely published, both traditionally and via self-publishing.
We’re proud that the renowned novelist Peter May agreed to take part in our
author interview (see page 21). His experience and perseverance in pursuing a
successful international career are an inspiration to us all.
Finally, as we figure that our readers love words, we have included a literary
