NEWS ROGER DUBUIS OPENS ITS FIRST U.S. BOUTIQUE As part of its exciting international expansion, Roger Dubuis opened its first boutique in the U.S. in November. Following hot on the heels of the recent opening of a new flagship boutique on the brand’s home territory on Geneva’s historic Place de la Fusterie, the New York boutique captures the bold spirit of the Manufacture and is entirely in sync with the inimitable atmosphere of the Big Apple. The unique space located at 545 Madison Avenue in mid-town Manhattan, once again reiterates the distinctive jewellery box design of all its new boutiques. The ever-present square (visible in the geometry of the inlaid floor made of precious woods of the New York Boutique), three iconic colors (bronze, black, and red), along with the emblematic traits of each well-defined Roger Dubuis worlds – Excalibur, Hommage, and Velvet – bear witness to the qualities that have always distinguished Roger Dubuis: a contemporary spirit expressed through an original aesthetic demonstrating a consistent capacity to surprise and appeal. Welcoming furniture perfectly offsets the bold, technical perfection of the brand’s signature creativity. The intimate, sophisticated environment subtly associating braided leather, bronze, and wood creates a quiet atmosphere favouring thought and relaxation. In celebration of the opening, Roger Dubuis will dedicate a Hommage Millésime piece to the New York boutique. A unique restoration project dear to the heart of the founder of the brand, Millésime marks each year with a special “vintage” in the shape of just one creation embodying a wealth of restoration work. These models are available exclusively from Roger Dubuis boutiques and are systematically related to boutique openings representing milestone events in the life of the Manufacture and its steady expansion. 120 WRISTWATCH | 2016 AUDEMARS PIGUET GRAND OPENING OF ITS NEWEST BOUTIQUE ON RODEO DRIVE Audemars Piguet CEO, Francois-Henry Bennahmias, CEO N.
