HYSEK With its three hands , date , and power reserve , the new Hysek IO 42 mm represents Hysek ’ s own take on classical watchmaking . On the dial a power reserve and grand date combine to create a subtle effect of a smiling face on the dial while a modern font appears on applied Arabic numerals interspersed among the tuning-fork style hour markers . A sunray brushed dial resides under polished rhodium-plated hands and creates a rich feel in deep blue . The bevelled arrow-point hand displays how much of the 42-hour reserve remains in the mainspring of the Swiss Made automatic movement . A sapphire crystal allows for a closer look at the scrutiny each component gets from the finisher . On the outside of the 42mm stainless steel case a counterpoint of satin and highpolish surfaces add another subtle touch of finesse .
